Surprise Visit by DEO Ravinder Kaur to Schools in Block Khanna 2: Commends school heads for Good Performance, Encourages Improvement Where Needed

Khanna, May 17 — District Education Officer (Elementary) Madam Ravinder Kaur conducted surprise visits to various schools in Block Khanna 2. She was accompanied by District Coordinators Anil Matharu (Smart Schools), distt coordinator Manmeet Singh, and Baldev Singh.

During her visit, DEO Ravinder Kaur reviewed the performance of schools according to NABARD 29 and 30 criteria. While some shortcomings were noted, school heads were encouraged to address and improve those areas.

The schools inspected included Government Primary Schools in Kishangarh, Bhumaddi, Lallehri, Rasoolra, Khanna Khurd, and Galwadi. Many of the initiatives taken by the principals were appreciated.

Jagrup Singh school head of Bhumaddi School, shared that local donors from the village contributed nearly ₹15 lakh to support the renovation of the school building. Kishangarh’s school head Parminder Chauhan, despite being a single teacher managing 54 students, was recognized for fostering strong confidence and personality among the students. Schools in Rasoolra, Lalheri, and Khanna Khurd also received praise for their commendable efforts. school head of Lalheri i told that, with the village’s support, around 200 trolleys of soil were being spread on the campus — an initiative that was highly appreciated.

District Coordinator Manmeet Singh evaluated the progress of specially-abled children, while Smart School Coordinator Anil Matharu motivated school heads to properly utilize grants received by schools and to ensure strict compliance with government guidelines.

Following this, Madam Ravinder Kaur held a special meeting with CHTs and school heads of Block Khanna-2. BPEO Sardar Ranjodh Singh welcomed all the teachers. BRCs Shingara Singh, Kulwinder Singh, and Rupinder Singh were also present at the occasion.

During the meeting, Madam Ravinder Kaur encouraged school heads to adopt a friendly environment to increase student enrollment and to remain committed to their duties. She stated that she follows Sikh principles and walks the path of truth. She also emphasized the importance of water purity and encouraged regular cleaning of water tanks.

During the inspections, Madam Ravinder Kaur distributed biscuits to the young students, lighting up their faces with joy.

Madam Ravinder Kaur also told all school heads that they can contact her at any time without hesitation if they ever need support.
