District Education Officer (Elementary) Ravinder Kaur holds meeting with all BPEOs and Head Teachers of Ludhiana District —Special discussion held on Enrollment, Water Samples, and Grants Ludhiana, May 16 — District Education Officer (Elementary), Madam Ravinder Kaur, held a special meeting today with all Block Primary Education Officers and selected Head Teachers from various schools in Ludhiana district. The meeting focused on strategies to increase enrollment and discussed the quality of drinking water in schools.Ravinder Kaur stated that in schools where the water samples have failed quality checks, immediate action must be taken to inspect the RO machines, clean the water tanks, and add disinfectants to the tanks to ensure children receive clean and safe drinking water. She emphasized that ensuring children’s health is a primary responsibility. She also directed that all schools must ensure the availability of clean drinking water and maintain proper hygiene at all times.In addition, she discussed the grants provided under NABARD 29 and 30 by the Punjab Government with all Head Teachers. She stressed the importance of utilizing these grants on time and in accordance with rules and regulations. She instructed that all work must be done with honesty and discipline.Ravinder Kaur also directed all BPEOs to ensure that schools update their staff data correctly on the ePunjab portal in relation to promotions so that transfers and promotions can be implemented properly.Present on the occasion were Deputy DEO Manoj Kumar, District Coordinator Anil Matharu (Smart Schools), District MIS Wing’s Vishal Kumar, Sukhpal Singh (Smart Schools AC), Parminder Singh (AC), JE Jagjit Singh, and Madam Sarika Kapoor.
