: Rinku from GSSS PAU,Ludhiana Selected for PRERANA Experiential Learning Program at Ahmedabad,Gujrat***June 8, 2024*Principal Mrs .Balwinder Kaur, GSSS,PAU, Ludhiana announced that their student Rinku 12M( Medical ) got an opportunity to participate in the PRERANA program at Ahmedabad, Gujrat. Prerana – is an initiative of Department of School Education &Literacy,Ministry of Education, Government of India- one week learning program designed to empower the youth of country.Prerna, grounded in nine fundamental values, including Self-Respect and Modesty, Bravery and Courage, Perseverance and Dedication, Compassion and Service, Diversity and Unity, Truth and Honesty, Innovation and Curiosity, Faith and Belief, Independence and Action, aims to nurture holistic development among participating students. His inclusion serves as a testament to PAU Ludhiana’s commitment to fostering well-rounded individuals poised to make meaningful contributions to society as he represented Punjab state at Ahmedabad,GujratDuring his time in Vadnagar, Rinku had the opportunity to delve into the city’s rich history, including its six historic gates named Kirti, Arjun, Nadiol, Amarthol, Ghaskol, and Pithori, and explore prominent landmarks such as the Sun Temple, Hatkeshwar Temple, Sharmishtha Lake, Tana Riri Garden, and many more.Furthermore, Rinku imbibed invaluable lessons during his stay, emphasizing the importance of not wasting food, advocating for the principle of taking only what one can consume, and fostering respect for all individuals. He also gained insights into the imperative of rejecting gender stereotypes and embracing equality.Rinku extends heartfelt gratitude to his esteemed Principal Mrs. Balwinder Kaur ,Guide teacher Mrs. Rajdeep Gautam and class incharge Mr. Ravinder Kumar .
