Starting May 1, 2025, districts like Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, and SAS Nagar will be on high alert (Take Action) due to expected thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds (40-60 kmph), and duststorms. Other areas, including Ludhiana and Patiala, are advised to “Be Prepared” for similar weather events.

Day 3: May 2, 2025 – Widespread Weather Activity

On May 2, 2025, the weather activity intensifies, with most districts, including Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Bathinda, under a “Be Updated” warning for thunderstorms and gusty winds. Ferozepur, Moga, and Tarn Taran remain under “No Warning.”

Day 4: May 3, 2025 – Continued Alerts

May 3, 2025, will see similar conditions, with districts like Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, and Sangrur under “Be Updated” warnings for thunderstorms and duststorms. Residents in Ferozepur and Tarn Taran continue to have no warnings.

Day 5: May 4, 2025 – Persistent Weather Concerns

On May 4, 2025, the weather warnings persist, with districts such as Ludhiana, Bathinda, and Patiala under “Be Updated” status for thunderstorms, gusty winds, and duststorms. Ferozepur, Moga, and Barnala remain under “No Warning.”
