The initiative aims to reduce mental stress among children and promote joyful, stress-free education.District Education Officer (Elementary) Mrs. Ravinder Kaur and Deputy District Education Officer Mr. Manoj Kumar visited several schools, including those in Doraha, Bilga, and Rajgarh, to oversee the campaign’s implementation and review ongoing activities.”In today’s time, mental stress among children is steadily increasing, making education feel burdensome. This campaign is a step toward making learning enjoyable and meaningful,” said Mrs. Ravinder Kaur. She highlighted that the Punjab School Education Department launched this initiative to reintroduce students to a vibrant and positive learning environment.The first day back to school was celebrated like a festival. Students were welcomed warmly by their teachers and engaged in various interactive and creative activities such as games, storytelling, painting, and handicrafts. The children participated with great enthusiasm, embracing the spirit of learning and new beginnings.On this occasion, Mrs. Kaur also shared that a donor family from Bilga village had generously contributed half an acre of land for the construction of a new school building for SAPS Bilga. The building has been successfully completed with community support. She expressed her sincere gratitude to the donor families for their valuable contribution.Deputy DEO Mr. Manoj Kumar also visited schools in Block Machhiwara to monitor the program’s implementation. He was accompanied by District Resource Coordinator Mr. Manmeetpal Singh Grewal.The campaign has been widely appreciated for creating a child-friendly atmosphere and rekindling the joy of learning among students and after the vacation break.
